A survey is conducted with a total of (123) respondents, (50) respondents from Yoma Housing and (73) respondents from Mahar Bandoola Rental Housing who were selected and according to their answers it was found that in Yoma Housing, respondents, previously squatters were given occupancy certificates, no rental fees, only maintenance fees of Kyat 10,000 have to be paid and they also possessed collective ownership. However, 20% of the respondents’ present income had decreased than before and nature of their income generating jobs include transportation costs accounted for it. In Mahar Bandoola Rental Housing, only rental fees of Kyat 30,000 and maintenance fees of Kyat 5,000, Kyat 1,000 for water supply have to be paid monthly. After being resettled from squatter settlements and mostly private rental, 27% of these respondents’ income had increased because rental fees were relatively lower than the previous. However, in both housing estates, it was found that the majority of the respondents’ opinions on living in the new settlements are expressed as being at a satisfactory level."}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-05-05"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Aye Zaw Pe MPA.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1657 Kb"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/1266/files/Aye Zaw Pe MPA.pdf"},"version_id":"4d61ec25-8100-4836-9351-619a61c73de2"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_journal_title":"Yangon University of Economics"}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_awarding_university":"Yangon University of Economics","subitem_supervisor(s)":[{"subitem_supervisor":"Daw Khin Chaw Myint"}]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"AYE ZAW PE"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Other"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Thesis"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2019-05-01"},"item_title":"A STUDY ON HOUSING PROVISION FOR LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS IN YANGON CITY (A CASE STUDY OF “YOMA HOUSING” AND “MAHAR- BANDOOLA RENTAL HOUSING”) ( Aye Zaw Pe, 2019)","item_type_id":"21","owner":"1","path":["1582963436320","1582965722087"],"publish_date":"2020-03-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"1266","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["A STUDY ON HOUSING PROVISION FOR LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS IN YANGON CITY (A CASE STUDY OF “YOMA HOUSING” AND “MAHAR- BANDOOLA RENTAL HOUSING”) ( Aye Zaw Pe, 2019)"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-04-24T07:45:10.559839+00:00"}
