The objectives are to assess the perceptions of DSMA faculty members regarding the MMCAC accreditation standards and to identify the challenges or limitations they face in implementing these standards. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design, data were gathered through a structured questionnaire based on the MMCAC standards. A total of 187 out of 235 faculty members (87.38%) participated. Results indicated the need for improvement in areas such as institutional mission, curriculum, assessment, student support, and leadership. However, faculty expressed concerns over issues like limited institutional autonomy, weak governance roles, inadequate program structure, poor student engagement, and insufficient staff and resource management.
