The research aims to understand how students view\nthe school’s role in supporting their well-being, development, and future\nopportunities. Data was collected from 91 students during the 2025–2026 academic\nyear. A descriptive analysis method was used to analyze both quantitative and\nqualitative responses. Findings reveal that students generally feel safe, supported, and\ncared for in the school environment. They experienced good education, health care,\nprotection, shelter, and emotional support, with some concerns about food,\npreparedness, and family contact. The study suggests enhancing nutritional variety,\nestablishing an on-site health unit, increasing spiritual activities like pagoda visits,\nimproving safety drills, and expanding extracurricular programs. Strengthening\npartnerships with NGOs and donors, as well as regular monitoring of student well-\nbeing, are also recommended. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of\ninstitutional support for OVC in Myanmar and offers practical suggestions for\nimproving student care and development."}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2025-09-26"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Saw Shwe Ngwe Toe MDevS-38 (18 Batch).pdf","filesize":[{"value":"684 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/11542/files/Saw Shwe Ngwe Toe MDevS-38 (18 Batch).pdf"},"version_id":"fc8db81b-fedc-440a-9696-e9c69e39873f"}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_awarding_university":"Yangon University of Economics","subitem_supervisor(s)":[{"subitem_supervisor":"Daw Phyu Win Ei"}]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Saw Shwe Ngwe Toe"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Other"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Thesis"}]},"item_title":"Students’ Perceptions on the Performance of Youth Training School for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Bogale (Saw Shwe Ngwe Toe, 2025)","item_type_id":"21","owner":"20","path":["1582963436320","1582965681303"],"publish_date":"2025-09-26","publish_status":"0","recid":"11542","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Students’ Perceptions on the Performance of Youth Training School for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Bogale (Saw Shwe Ngwe Toe, 2025)"],"weko_creator_id":"20","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2025-09-26T07:30:23.436106+00:00"}
