Utilizing a descriptive analysis, water samples were tested\nfor chemical and biological contaminants, and household surveys were conducted.\nFindings show two thirds of respondents attributing health problems to their water\nsource and mostly reporting frequent clinic visits due to water-related illnesses. More\nthan one-third, reported experiencing kidney problems. Awareness of contamination is\nhigh. Most participants understand the main causes of contamination, primarily\nindustrial waste and agricultural chemicals. Despite receiving information or support\nfrom government agencies and NGOs, a few perceive their water as very safe. While\nconcern and willingness for preventive action are strong, practical knowledge about\nwater testing and access to official guidance remain limited.
