Myanmar has had relatively some experience in PPP practice and administration though it is not structured. This thesis aims to examine the development of the legal and regulatory framework for PPP in three selected ASEAN countries those who are most actively promoting PPP in order to highlight the lessons that can be learned from the regulations of PPP in those jurisdictions. Moreover, regulatory background of Myanmar PPP process is learnt. Research method is descriptive method using secondary data from publications and Key Informative personal interview. This thesis suggests the development of PPP regulatory framework and implementation of some lessons learnt from selected ASEAN countries to improve the framework and performance of PPP arrangements in Myanmar.
