The objective of the study is to examine the knowledge on current status of\r mangrove forest conservation in Rakhine state by using descriptive method. The thesis\r finding shows that successful mangrove forest conservation activities directly and\r indirectly relate to the people's performance. Costal people in Myanmar are mostly\r using electricity and wood for cooking everyday although they were completely\r dependent on mangrove forest products such as charcoal and firewood. There is less\r dependent on mangrove forest products for construction. One important sustainable\r mangrove forest conservation practice is to fulfill the needs of local people through a\r sufficient daily living system and secure life style. The findings are coming out from\r this thesis. The Most of local people from Kyeintali use mangrove tree directly and\r indirectly such as wood, wood pillar, nipa palm and so on. Most of local people use\r mangrove forest products daily such as fish, crab, prawn, wood, bark, wood pillar,\r honey, firewood and charcoal. Before 2019, all of local people use charcoal and\r firewood for daily cooking.
