Topographic map of this area \nis 93 B/8. It is North Latitude 22 02' to 22 06' and East Longitude 96˚ 23' to 96 28'. The Paleozoic \nrock of the study area consist of in ascending order, Sitha Formation (Middle Ordovician), \nKyaingtaung Formation (Upper Ordovician), Nyaungbaw Formation with Pan-Sha-Pye shale \n(Lower to Upper Silurian), Zebingyi Formation (Upper Silurian to Devonium). In the study area, \nthe carbonate rocks are more abundant than clastic sediments. Among the stratigraphic units, the \nNyaungbaw Formation is made up of carbonate rocks interbedded with siliciclastics units. \nNyaungbaw Formation is extensively distributed the western and eastern part of the area. The \nrock of the lower member of Nyaungbaw Formation composed mainly of white shale with \nabundant graptolites are well exposed at east of Okhpo village. Graptolite; Monograptus sp, \nClimacograptus sp are found and which are indicate Silurian age. Moreover, the Nyaungbaw \nFormation can be measured from the base of the section to the top than the other formation of \nthe study area. Microfacies analysis was detail study on carbonate rocks, mainly in the \nNyaungbaw Formation. The section line exposed car road and this section have been measured \nbed by bed samples have been taken significant lithogic change, depending on facies changes. \nAfter studying field observation, thin sections and facies and microfacies has been constructed. \nThere are two major depositional environments in the Silurian Nyaungbaw Formation on the \nbasis of grain types, physical and biogenic sedimentary structures, and vertical facies \nrelationships. In the study area, there are six microfacies and two lithofacies observed and they \nare grouped into two main facies associations such as inner shelf association and outer shelf \nassociation."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Paleozoic rocks"},{"interim":"depositional environments"},{"interim":"Facies associations"}]},"item_1583103120197":{"attribute_name":"Files","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2025-01-21"}],"displaytype":"preview","filename":"Mi Mi Ko.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"3.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_0","url":{"url":"https://meral.edu.mm/record/10689/files/Mi Mi Ko.pdf"},"version_id":""}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"1","subitem_journal_title":"Sagaing University Research Journal","subitem_pages":"72-82","subitem_volume":"10"}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Mi Mi Ko"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Tin Aung Myint"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2024-03-04"},"item_title":"Estimation of the Depositional Environments of the Panudaung - Konkaw Area, Pyin-O-Lwin Township, Mandalay Region","item_type_id":"21","owner":"230","path":["1704332180226","1704447094819"],"publish_date":"2025-01-21","publish_status":"0","recid":"10689","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Estimation of the Depositional Environments of the Panudaung - Konkaw Area, Pyin-O-Lwin Township, Mandalay Region"],"weko_creator_id":"230","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2025-01-21T04:46:29.769300+00:00"}
