Women's participation in MAPs was strong globally but remained weak in Myanmar. This study focuses on the perception of women's participation, their awareness and knowledge about mine, the challenges faced, and their contribution to community development. This study used a descriptive research method based on primary and secondary data, by using a simple random sampling method and KII. It was found that gender-based violence, cultural or societal restrictions, family responsibilities, support of advisors or colleagues, and work discrimination. As the benefits, it was found that community development such as economic development, social development, peacebuilding, and sustainable development plays a crucial role in women's participation in MAPs.
