This study employs the descriptive \nmethod and conducted on 168 school teachers in Shwe Pyi Thar Township. The study \nreveals that the levels of teachers’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment are\nmoderately high. There is no variation in teachers’ job satisfaction in terms of age,\nteaching positions and teaching services. However, there is significant difference in \nteachers’ organizational commitment in terms of age, teaching positions and teaching \nservices between group of teachers. Teachers who are old have higher organizational \ncommitment than those who are young. There is a positive moderate\ncorrelation between teachers’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
