The purposes of the study are to explore CF \ncondition, to study the perceptions of CF farmers and NCF farmers on CF programme, \nand to identify challenges in contract farming practices. A descriptive method was \nemployed, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data collected through structured \nquestionnaires. The sample comprised 229 CF farmers and 82 NCF farmers from nine \nvillages across three townships. Findings reveal that majority of CF farmers experience \npositive outcomes, with 57.6% receiving expected benefits and 62.4% reporting \nchanges in cultivation methods. In comparison to NCF farmers, CF farmers can be \nfound that they have more income and profit, and less expenditure. NCF farmers exhibit \nlimited understanding of contract farming, highlighting barriers to participation.
