The cooperative binding of C12Py+ with AFA is the endothermic process driven by the positive entropy resulting possibly from\r the dehydration of hydrophobically hydrated water molecules around the hydrocarbon chains of the bound C12Py+ ions. The binding is obviously\r pH dependent and is most pronounced at pH 9.18. Different binding modes are observed at two pH regions, i.e., cooperative binding at pH > 7\r and non-cooperative binding at pH < 7. The effect of ionic strength is also important in binding phenomenon. As the ionic strength decreases, the\r C12Py+ binding with AFA is enhanced, probably due to the lowering of screening effect of counterions. The sensitivity of binding to ionic strength\r is larger at high pH than that at low pH in AFA system."}]},"item_1583103108160":{"attribute_name":"Keywords","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Aso fulvic acid"}]},"item_1583103131163":{"attribute_name":"Journal articles","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_issue":"1–3","subitem_journal_title":"Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects","subitem_volume":"287"}]},"item_1583103147082":{"attribute_name":"Conference papaers","attribute_value_mlt":[{}]},"item_1583103211336":{"attribute_name":"Books/reports/chapters","attribute_value_mlt":[{}]},"item_1583103233624":{"attribute_name":"Thesis/dissertations","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_supervisor(s)":[]}]},"item_1583105942107":{"attribute_name":"Authors","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_authors":[{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Min Min Yee"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Miyajima, Tohru"},{"subitem_authors_fullname":"Takisawa, Noboru"}]}]},"item_1583108359239":{"attribute_name":"Upload type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Publication"}]},"item_1583108428133":{"attribute_name":"Publication type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"interim":"Journal article"}]},"item_1583159729339":{"attribute_name":"Publication date","attribute_value":"2006"},"item_1583159847033":{"attribute_name":"Identifier","attribute_value":"https://umoar.mu.edu.mm/handle/123456789/311"},"item_title":"Thermodynamic studies of dodecylpyridinium ion binding to fulvic acid","item_type_id":"21","owner":"1","path":["1582967007954"],"publish_date":"2020-03-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"1012","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Thermodynamic studies of dodecylpyridinium ion binding to fulvic acid"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2022-03-24T23:13:01.900073+00:00"}
