Automatic Template Generation for Myanmar Preposition Checking System Win, Khaing Htet Although the numbers of researches areincreased in natural language processing, thedevelopment of grammar checking system forMyanmar language is very few. Much of the researchesin checking area depends on hand-crafted rules andfocuses on certain error types. However, the manualprocess of creation of rules is costly, time-consumingand error-prone. It seems therefore advisable to usemachine-learning algorithms to create the rulesautomatically. In this paper, we describe a system forcorrecting Myanmar preposition errors automaticallyand non-native writers often make these errors. Adecision tree algorithm (DT) is applied for automatictemplate generation of preposition errors usingMyanmar Text Corpus. Correct Sentences in thecorpus increase the performance of the method.
