Managing Blackout in Off-grid Communities through Time Based Energy Allocation Model Oladipupo, Bilesanmi Yusuf Thu, Ye Kyaw Yoshiyori, Urano In recent years, the smart grid hasoccupied the area of power and gridmanagement research and indeed a lot ofbrilliant works have been done. Nevertheless,most of these works have been designed only forthe improvement of traditional grids and little ornothing has been designed to address the needsof people living in off grid communities thatimbibe the use of stand-alone renewable energysolutions which are not properly managed andresults in blackouts more often than it solves theelectricity challenges.
