In industries, raw material (finished products)is transported from factories to warehouses, whichinvolves transportation cost. To reduce this cost,transportation methods are used. In Mathematics andEconomics, transportation theory is the name givento the study of optimal transportation and allocationof resources. Transportation methods are stronglyrecommended to minimize the transportation cost.Transportation models application is very helpful toorganize the process of goods distribution. Thispaper analyses on minimizing the transportation costbased on Least Cost and Vogel's ApproximationMethods. By analyzing differences between these twomethods such as number of iterations, runtime, initialsolution and optimal solution, we can know whichmethod is more effective.
