All of the library systems need their own datacenters for managing large data storage. Traditionallibrary management needs more control over themanagement applications and stored data containssensitive and private information. Web-based digitallibrary provisioning and maintenance ofinfrastructure presents several challenges. Cloudcomputing is particularly attractive choice for librarymanagement system because of its large storagevolume and streamline of cost. The proposed systemwill present the access control on library managementsystem of university in cloud computing by utilizing theplatform as a service(PaaS) of cloud. In this system,Google App Engine(GAE) will be used for the librarymanagement development. As the cloud serviceprovider uses the multi-tenancy model, the data in thecloud is accessible to multiple users. Thus, there is ahigh risk to the security of data in the cloud.Therefore, there is a great need for providing securityagainst these un-trusted service providers. So, thissystem also supports the data access control byMandatory Access Control(MAC).
