An Audio Watermarking Approach in Discrete Wavelet Transform Domain

A popular approach employed to embed imperceptiblestructures into digital media files in order to hinderunauthorized copying distribution is digital watermarking.Digital watermarking adds additional information into an audiofile without influencing quality of our file size. This additionalinformation can be used for inserting copyright information or acustomer identity into the audio file. In this system, the DiscreteWavelet Transform(DWT) coefficient block is employed toembed the watermarking because it is widely used to analyzenon-stationary signals like audio. The watermark detectionprocess can be performed without using original audio signal.The experimental results reveals that watermark sequence isrobust to many attacks such as noise adding, cropping, zeroingand duplicating. This system is implemented by MATLAB.
