Decision Support System (DSS) is an interactivesoftware-based system intended to help decisionmakers compile useful information from raw data, documents, personal knowledge, and/or businessmodels to identify and solve problems and makedecisions. Decision Support System (DSS) is a subsetof computer-based information systems (CBIS).Goal-seeking Analysis and what-if Analysis are theDecision Support System’s analytical modeling.Typically, the value of only one variable is changedrepeatedly, and the resulting changes on othervariables are observed. What-if analysis is apowerful tool for identifying and quantifying theimpacts of inputs and system parameters on modelingresults. Goal-seeking analysis is a reversed case ofwhat – if analysis involving repeated changes to onlyone variable at a time. In this thesis, dyeing andprinting works of fabrics is developed for decisionsupport system to identity the alternative forproduction to forecast based on user’s constraints.
