Automatic Sentiment Analysis System for Myanmar News Yu, Thein Nwet, Khin Thandar Sentiment analysis and opinion mining mainlyemphasize on opinions which express or describepositive or negative sentiments. Sentiment analysis ismostly concerned with NLP. The inception and rapiddevelopment of the field concerned with the socialmedia on the Web, e.g., post, reviews, forumdiscussions, blogs, microblogs, Twitter, and socialnetworks. There is a little research in Myanmarlanguage. This system implements sentiment analysissystem for Myanmar news using well-known machinelearning approach such as Support vector machine.Feature extraction and selection are also need forsentiment analysis to improve accuracy. This systemuses N gram and TF-IDF method for feature selectionand extraction. News corpus is used for training andtesting.
