Structure Determination of [Kx (NH4)1-x] 2ZnC14 Single Crystalsbyx-Raydiffraction Thidar Nyun The Mar Win Pho Kaung Bajpai P.K. The room temperature structures of dipotassium tetrachlorozincate K2ZnC14 (KZC), diammonium tetrachlorozincate (NH4)2Znq (AZC) and [Kx (NH4)1-x]2ZnC14.l7nC1.(KAZC,AKZC) with x = 0.50, 0.85 have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Their structures crystallize in orthorhombic with the space group P21cn, Pc, Pnma and Pna21 respectively. In the structure refinement, fina1Rindicesconverged to 0.076, 0.134, 0.105 and 0.098 respectively.
