The research is done from the anthropological aspect. Having villagers who speak Myanmar well and reliable data. The differences in the ancient and modern traditions are also noted. In studying the life-style of a group of people, it is important to find out how they are related to one another, what kind of relationship they have among their family members or their kin. The Shan Gyi nationals are very pious and strong in their faith and beliefs. They also believe in spirits and have those who have sound knowledge of their ancestral traditions are assets to the survey and make interpretations unnecessary.
