<dc:title>Operations Management Practices and Operational Performance of Reinsurance Business in Myanma Insurance ( Su Su Than, 2025)</dc:title>
          <dc:creator>Su Su Than</dc:creator>
<dc:description>The objectives of the study are to identify the operations management practices
of reinsurance business in Myanma Insurance and to analyze the effect of operations
management practices on operational performance of reinsurance business in Myanma
Insurance. The sample size is calculated from total known population by using Yamane
formula. A sample of 80 employees are taken from 150 employees of reinsurance
department by using simple random sampling method. Survey questionnaires are used
to collect data. According to the result of regression analysis, it appears that process
design has the most significant effect on operational performance in the reinsurance
business, followed by service integration and quality management among four
operations management practices. To achieve this, the reinsurance business should
prioritize process design improvements. The reinsurance business should utilize
software and technology to make processes quicker and more efficient. Furthermore,
lower-level staff should be empowered through technology and streamlined workflows
to make faster decisions. The Board of Directors (BOD) should streamline their
decision-making processes to avoid lengthy and complex procedures.</dc:description>
