History of Japan – Myanmar Relationship (1942 – 1948) Kyaw Swe Nyunt This paper tries to highlight the result of the rigorous examination of events and episodes, occurred in Myanmar. This paper describes the bilateral relation between Japan and Myanmar. This paper aims at presenting the vital role played by Japan in the Myanmar political situation and its involvement and pressures of big powers. The Japanese entered Myanmar as ally, and not as conqueror or master. There had been to do the policy of the Japanese government on the Myanmar.
