<dc:title>Stability and Oscillatory Behavior of Higher Order Difference Methods for One-Dimensional Diffusion-Convection Problems</dc:title>
          <dc:creator>Saw Aung Kyaw</dc:creator>
<dc:description>In this paper, an extensive analysis of two-level three-point finite-difference methods of order 2 in
time and 4 in space, for one-dimensional diffusion-convection problems is carried out. Then, as to
avoid difficulties near boundaries, higher order methods which only need three points in space are
formulated. And then the stability and the oscillatory behavior of the methods are determined.
Finally, the implementations of the methods to get accurate numerical results are obtained.</dc:description>
