          <dc:description>In this paper, we propose a parallel implementation of search algorithms on a cluster of workstations to be efficiently executed. One server node and several compute nodes are connected via a high performance Gigabit Ethernet switch to implement the cluster. Cluster parallel computing environment divides the task into multiple sub-tasks that are distributed to multiple nodes within the cluster for processing. These parallel implementations are based on the
master-worker model. As parallel programming libraries, Message Passing Interface (MPI) libraries are used to provide a mechanism that allows the nodes to easily coordinate computing and exchange information. Our experimental results prove that parallel implementation of search algorithms on a cluster of computers achieves significant speed up and performance improvement.</dc:description>
