Classification the Stages of Breast Cancer Using ELEM2 (Extension of Learning from Examples Modules Version 2) Algorithm Zin, Ei Ei Breast cancer is the most common form ofcancer among women world-wide and its earlydetection can improve the chances of successfultreatment and recovery. In this paper we are usingdata mining techniques for diagnosis andprognosis of cancer. It can help in propertreatment for the cancer patient. Thus this systemis very helpful in medical research. The aim is toassist doctors in diagnostic decisions. The populardata mining C4.5 algorithm was used for thecomparative studies and the accuracy.
