A study of Causally-Consistent Lazy Model for a Data-Centric Distributed Application Win, Me Me Zaw, Win Win In distributed database system, replicateddatabases are composed of many copies of databasesdistributed across different sites. Distributedapplications frequently use replications to achievehigher level of performance, reliability andavailability. The main challenge of databasereplication is to keep the data copies to be consistentin the presence of updates. In this paper, we studyhow the replicated databases can be preventedinconsistent data among users who access thereplicated database simultaneously. Since, causalconsistency perform operations that are causallyrelated must be seen in causal order by all processes.Our study is focused on causally-consistent lazymodel for a data-centric distributed application.
