Data underpin activities in allsectors of society. Achieving the full transformativepotential from the use of data in this increasingly digitalworld requires not only new data analysis algorithmsbut also a new generation of systems and distributedcomputing environments to handle the dramatic growthin the volume of data, the lack of structure for much of itand the increasing computational needs of massivescale analytics. In this paper, we propose big dataplatform that is built upon open source and built onHadoop MapReduce , Gluster File System, Apache Pig,Apache Hive and Jaql and compare our platform withother two big data platforms I BM big da ta platformand Splunk .
