<dc:title>Phonetics Matching Approach for Converting System of Phonetics Transcriptions to Myanmar Text</dc:title>
          <dc:creator>Maung, Kyaw Kyaw</dc:creator>
<dc:description>Converting system of phonetics transcriptions toMyanmar text is intended to contribute as a portion ofspeech to text system of Myanmar language. InMyanmar language, the spoken language may bedifferent with the written language in many cases.Phonetics transcriptions represent spoken languageand Myanmar text represents written language. Thispaper proposed the phonetic string matching schemethat aligned between the phonetics transcriptions andthe Myanmar text. Phonetics string matching is aresearch area of information retrieval systems, searchsystems, data mining, text and web-mining, speechrecognition, and pattern recognition systems. Theproposed system idea is come from the popularphonetic string matching algorithm called Soundex. The main difference between the proposed system andthe original Soundex algorithm is that the proposedsystem is completely converted from text to phoneticssymbols and then encoded of that symbol to relevantcode points for accuracy.</dc:description>
