<dc:description>Nowadays the provision of online services bygovernment or business organizations has become astandard and necessary operation. Transferring dataincluding the confidential or sensitive information viaInternet or insecure network and exchange of them is alsoincreased day by day. As a result, confidential informationleakage and cyber threats are also heightened. Confidentialinformation trading became one of the most profitablebusinesses. Encrypting the data is a solution to secure thedata from being exposed. In this paper, we would like topropose a solution for the secure transfer of data usingsymmetric encryption, asymmetric encryption technologiesand Key Generation Server as a mixed hybrid solution. ASymmetric encryption, modified AES algorithm, is used toencrypt data. Digital certificate is used both for dataencryption and digital signing to assure data integrity. Keygeneration server is used to generate the second secret keyfrom the publicly recognized information of a person and thiskey is used as a second secret key in the modified AES. Theproposed hybrid solution can be utilized in any applicationsthat require high confidentiality, integrity of data and nonrepudiation.</dc:description>
