Myanmar Summarized Text with Verb Frame Resource Naing, May Thu Thida, Aye In today’s era, when the size of informationand data is increasing exponentially, there is anupcoming need to create a concise version of theinformation available. This paper presents asummary generation system that will accept asingle document as input in Myanmar. Inaddition, this work presents analysis on theinfluence of the semantic roles in summarygeneration. The proposed summarization systemuses semantic role of each verb from MyanmarVerb Frame Resource (MVF) to compressoriginal texts. And then, summarization systemextracts and combines the sentences according tocut-and-paste method. After that, the systemabstracts the important information in fewerwords from extraction summary from singledocuments.
