          <dc:title>Determination of activite of 40Kin chemical sample</dc:title>
          <dc:creator>Khin Maung Htwe</dc:creator>
<dc:description>In this research work, determination of 40K activity in Chemical sample using gamma ray spectrometry. The NaI (Tl) scintillation detector was used for all of the measurements. The reference Whey Powder (IAEA-154) was first measured. The full energy peak efficiencies of NaI (Tl) scintillation detector was determined for 137Cs (661.66keV) and 40K (1460.75keV). The activity of 40K is (1548.60 122.02 Bq/kg) and the activity of 137Cs is (2336.78  136 Bq/kg) in the Whey Powder sample. And also the unknown activity of Chemical Sample (Potassium Nitrate sample) was measured. The activity of 40K in Chemical sample (Potassium Nitrate sample) is (8217.53  503.69 Bq/kg).</dc:description>
