This paper presents the idea of textclassification process in term of using machinelearning technique and illustrates how Myanmarnews documents were classified by applying geneticalgorithm. The applied system will be used Myanmaronline news articles from Myanmar news website forthe purpose of training and testing the system. Termfrequency inverse document frequency (tf_idf)algorithm was used to select related featureaccording to their labelled document which is alsoapplied in many text mining methods.</dc:description>
