Dynamic Replication Management Mechanism Based on Accessing Frequency Detecting Hman, May Sit Khaing This paper describes replication managementpolicies in distributed file system, and shows adecentralized dynamic replication managementmechanism dependent on accessing frequencydetecting named FDRM (Frequency DetectingReplication Management). In FDRM, in order tosupport better system performance and decreasenetwork traffic, system nodes scan their localreplicas to monitor replicas’ access pattern, andmakes decision independently to add, delete ormigrate replicas.
