Word Segmentation and New Word Identification of Myanmar Language Soe, Ei Phyu Phyu Myanmar texts are different fromEnglish texts in that they have no spaces tomark the boundaries of words. So, Myanmarword segmentation is a difficult. Theprocessing of Myanmar text is complicatedby the fact that there are no word delimiters.To segment Myanmar word, systemstypically use knowledge-based methods andlarge lexicons. This paper presents theability of linear-chain conditional randomfields (CRFs) to perform Myanmar wordsegmentation by providing lexicon. Thispaper also presents a probabilistic newword detection method by providing theaccess variety (AV) statistics and forwardbackward algorithm.
