Myanmar Foreign Policy and its Relations with China and Japan (1988-2015) Thwin Hnin Hlaing Since the time of independence period, Myanmar was set up and formulated independence, active, and non-aligned foreign policy in relations with the outside countries to secure Myanmar national interests _ national security, domestic stability, and economic development. However, the domestic, international, and individual factors influenced on implementing Myanmar’s foreign policy and relations with China and Japan.
