Heavy Metal Pollution of Agricultural Soils and Vegetables of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Division Aye Aye Sann May Thinzar Phyo The aim of this research was to assess heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd) in soils as well as in vegetable from Ngazun Township, Mandalay Division. Fertilizers and pesticides are used for the growth of plants and vegetables in agricultural fields. The use of fertilizers and pesticides has been causing environmental pollution and accumulation of heavy metal in soils.
