Decision Support System For Mosquito Borne Disease Wai, Hnin Su Maw, Myint Myint As the technology grows rapidly, manypeople take a great interest in computer and thencomputer-based methods are increasingly used toimprove the quality of the medical services. Humanexperts in medical field are frequently in greatdemand. Nowadays, medical diagnosis reasoning isa very important application area of computerbasedsystem. People take a great interest incomputer and then computer-based methods areincreasingly used to improve the quality of themedical services.The primary goal of this thesis is todevelop a case-based system where a new patientcould be quickly compared to the numerous casesin the databases. The objective is to find the closestmatch that can be reused to support a problem andmakes a decision based on CBR problem solvingcycle. In this thesis, a decision support systemfor mosquito borne diseases will be implemented byusing Case base reasoning which employs anintuitive and easy-to-use framework to assess thepatient's information and recommend a diagnosis.The proposed system both contributes to decisionsupport system and has advanced clinical supportfor Mosquito borne disease diagnosis.
