Patient Waiting Time System Using Simulation Method Aung, Thet Sandar This paper presents the way to calculate waitingtimes of patients. Results of patient surveys generallycite access to care and delays in care as sources ofdissatisfaction. Delays are expensive, not only interms of the direct costs they incur, but also in termsof the potential costs of decreased patientsatisfaction and adverse clinical outcomes. Incurrent health care service, it’s important tominimize staff idle time and maintain a highutilization rate of the medical facilities. Computersimulation is a powerful tool for medicalmanagement and scheduling. In this simulation,patient waiting time is calculated step-by-step usingqueue theory.
