Phytochemical Screening, Determination of Antimicrobial Activities of Three Myanmar Indigenous Medicinal Plants and Identification of Functional Groups from Vitex limonifolia Wall (Kyun-khauk-nwe) Thin Thin Myat Three Myanmar indigenous medicinal plants were collected and tested for their phytochemical constituents. Moreover, the antibacterial activities of these plants were performed by agar well diffusion method and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) method. A pure bioactive organic compound could be isolated from the barks of Vitex limonifolia Wall (Kyun-khauknwe) by using separation methods, such as Thin Layer and Column Chromatography.
