Retrieving Formal Concepts from Class-Method Data Table Phyu, Hnin Pwint Nyunt, Thi Thi Soe In maintenance of object-oriented software,one of the most important concepts is inheritance,which organizes classes into a hierarchy. Therelationships among packages, classes, accessmodifiers, inherited classes and methods can affect onmodification of the software. The proposed systemuses Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) to discovergroups of closely related classes. The groups ofclasses can assist programmers to know the high levelstructure of large software systems without priorknowledge, and programmers can learn the classes inthe same group together. The class-method data tableis constructed for retrieving formal concepts (group ofclasses). Then, the formal concepts are retrieved fromthe class-method data table by using the proposedConcept_Computing algorithm. After applying FCAand forming a lattice of given class specifications, onecan easily analyze the structure, change effects of themethods and dependencies of the classes.
