Pull-based Log-transfer Replication System Phyo, Su Hlaing Replication is important in distributedenvironment. Replication provides users with theirown local copies of data. These local, updatabledata copies can support increased localizedprocessing, reduced network traffic and easyscalability. However, the major disadvantage ofreplication is that when a given replicated object isupdated, all copies of that object must be updated:the update propagation problem. The pull-basedlog-transfer replication system allows replicacontents to become stale but in a controlled way.This system will become more efficient andavailable than traditional replication systems thatkeep all the replicas consistent, especially when thenetwork and computers are unreliable.
