Effect of Dynamic Local Lag Control with Dynamic Control of Prediction Time in Joint Haptic Drum Performance Sithu, Mya Ishibashi, Yutaka Fukushima, Norishige In this paper, we handle joint performance ofa networked haptic drum system where two usersplay a drum set in a 3D virtual space with thesame rhythm at the same tempo. In order toimprove the interactivity, we propose thedynamic local lag control with dynamic controlof prediction time. The proposed control keepsthe synchronization quality of sound andinteractivity high. It also changes the local lagand prediction time dynamically according to thenetwork delay.
