Full-Text Search in Myanmar Language using Apache Lucene Aye, Nang Zin Min Soe, Khin Mar In text retrieval, full-text search refers totechniques for searching a single computer-storeddocument or a collection in a full-text database.However, when the number of documents tosearch is potentially large, or the quantity ofsearch queries to perform is substantial, theproblem of full-text search is often divided intotwo tasks: indexing and searching. This paperproposes a full text search in Myanmar documentsstored in text and printed document form format.The indexing is based on inverted structure andthe searching is done using Apache Luceneengine. Although there are many systems supportfile content search, searching contents inMyanmar language is not widely used.
