Information retrieval is a fieldconcerned with storage, searching and retrieval ofinformation. The goal of information retrievalsystem is to provide users with documents that willsatisfy their information need. In manyuniversities and public libraries, informationretrieval system is used to provide easy access tobooks, journals and other documents. Theproposed system is intended to implement theinformation retrieval system for IEEE (Institute ofElectrical and Electronics Engineers) papers byusing BM25+ ranking method and SimplifiedPhrase Search Algorithm.
