Implementation of Database Consistency by Active Replication San, Khin Kaung Khaing In distributed system, the database can bereplicated in multiple servers stored at differentsites.Certain data items may be redundantlystored at more than one site for reliabilityreasons.Replication is a key to providing highavailability and fault tolerance in distributedsystems. A fault-tolerant service alwaysguarantees strictly correct. There are two faulttolerantreplication systems: passive replicationand active replication. This system intends toimplement an online banking system by usingactive replication.In active replication, clientsends their requests to all replicas. All replicasprocess incoming requests in the same way and inthe same order.
