Frontoethmoidal mucocele (left): A Case Report Hsu Yee Win A mucocele is an epithelial-lined, mucus containing sac completely filling the sinus and capable of expansion. This is in contradistinction to a blocked sinus cavity which simply contains mucus.These are benign lesion causing expansion of the paranasal siuses. Mucoceles are most commonly found in the frontal sinus followed by the ethmoid sinus.
