Bibliometric Analysis of the University Research Journal(2008-2010) Sanda Oo This s1udy focuses a bibliographic analysis of the Universities Research Journal. It covers Volume I to Volume 3 published during the period 2008102010. The major focus of this study is to apply bibtiome1ric analysis tO' analyse lhe research perfonnance of faculty members in various institutions of the Departments of Higher Education (Lower and Upper Myanmar) under the Ministry of Education. The method of the study is bibliometric analysis which is used to stud)' in detail \he bibliographic features of the articles and cita\ion analysis of references. lt is a research method used in library and infonnation science. In this s1udy. data are collected from three volumes (22 issues) of the journal covering a particular period. The collected data are tabulated and analysed for making observations.
