          <dc:description>This paper aims to study the effect of leadership style on organizational&#13; commitment and job performance in Medley Pharmaceuticals Limited through&#13; identifying the employees’ perception on the leadership style of their leaders, employees’&#13; commitment level and job performance. The results of the study indicates that&#13; transformational leadership and laissez-faire leadership are influencing factors on&#13; organizational commitment of employees. Regarding effect&#13; of&#13; organizational&#13; commitment on job performance, affective commitment and normative commitment are&#13; significant and positive effect on job performance of employees. Among the three types&#13; of leadership styles, transformational leadership style and laissez-faire leadership style are&#13; the most dominant factors on organizational commitment of employees. Among the three&#13; types of&#13; commitment, affective commitment and normative commitment mainly&#13; influence on job performance of employees. Therefore, it is recommended that area sales&#13; and marketing managers in Medley Pharmaceuticals Limited should practices&#13; transformational leadership style and laissez-faire leadership style in order to improve&#13; organizational commitment and job performance of medical sales representatives for the&#13; continuous success of the firm.</dc:description>
