FACTORS INFLUENCING THE INDIVIDUAL INVESTOR DECISION ON PURCHASE OF STOCK IN MYANMAR (Raju Pokhrel W@ Aung Aung, 2019) Raju Pokhrel W@ Aung Aung (EMBF - 2) In the case of Yangon Stock Exchange, this study explores the factor influencing individual investor decision on purchase of stock in Myanmar. Both the primary and secondary data have been used in this study. The data was collection from individual investor from securities companies. The five variables used in the analysis are firm image, accounting information, expert recommendation, financial needs and neutral information. There are more than 30,000 investors in which approximately1,500 investors are actively participating in stock market. Among them, 50 people are randomly selected for survey. The study has applied descriptive research method. Among five factors, majority of the respondents are influenced by the accuracy of the accounting information and that of the least are followed by neutral information. The paper reveals that Yangon Stock Exchange should implement the training activities to general public as well as students and company employer in order to attract both customers and companies towards the investment of stock in Yangon Stock Exchange.
