          <dc:description>This study examines the effect of corporate governance practices on financial performance of Ayeyarwaddy Farmers Development Bank Public Co.,Ltd (ABank) and makes analysis on the effect of corporate governance practices on the financial performance of ABank. Descriptive and quantitative method are used in this study, 36 respondents (69%) out of total (52) staff who are working at top management level at ABank are selected the get the primary data. In corporate governance practices, the study found that leverage of ABank has significant effect on financial performance. Therefore, the member of BoD should be more represented with large creditors. The board size, board composition, CEO duality and leverage are included as independent variables and dependent variable is financial performance. The study found that the board regularly meet to review financial performance and operations during the year, non-executives directors face more challenge and discipline than the CEO and management, debts affect the performance of a firm.</dc:description>
